What to expect
A presentation on the history and evolution of Nexton from Brent Gibadlo, Senior Vice President at Brookfield Properties, who has helped shepherd the growth of the community from its beginning, when he served as the Director of Real Estate Development for Meadwestvaco. Following the presentation, the group will have an opportunity to tour the community and see the unique offerings available in Nexton’s 100-acre downtown and numerous mixed-use villages.

What to expect
Lunch will be served at the Daniel Island Club, followed by a presentation and guided tour by the President of The Daniel Island Company, Matt Sloan, who has led the development of Daniel Island since 1993. Matt will share lessons learned and critical success factors over his 30+ years with the community. In addition, the group will be treated to a presentation of The Waterfront Daniel Island, a luxurious condominium and townhome community developed by East West Partners.
